Shankar Saikia - Director of Operations

Shankar Saikia has extensive operating experience in the enterprise software industry. His background includes roles in product management, consulting and sales of both enterprise-hosted solutions as well as ondemand software delivered as a service (SAAS). Shankar brings an industry-perspective to business software solutions with his knowledge of the high tech hardware, semiconductor, life sciences, consumer packaged goods and retail sectors. He has deep knowledge of India's telecommunications and biopharmaceutical industries. Shankar's 17 years of experience in Silicon Valley includes large corporations (Oracle and PriceWaterhouseCoopers), small entrepreneurial companies (Extricity and Icarian) and his own startup (The Baxley Group). Shankar graduated from Stanford University in 1990 with BA and MA degrees in Economics.

Anuj Gupta - Director of Sales

Anuj Gupta brings a strong technology sales and business development background to HighlanderSoft. His sales experience includes industrial hardware, enterprise applications software and related consulting services. Anuj has extensive knowledge of both the global as well as Indian technology markets. His industry expertise includes deep knowledge of the consumer packaged goods, retail, pharmaceuticals and financial services sectors. Anuj is a certified SAP CRM consultant who has held critical responsibilities in project management, solution delivery, pre-sales and sales. He has worked for premier consulting companies such as Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and HCL Technologies. Anuj holds a BE degree in Electronics from VIT (Pune) and an MBA from IIT (Delhi).
